Appointment No-Show Policy

With the increased demand for appointments and wait times for veterinary services across the entire country, it has become more challenging for our clients to schedule timely visits. Additionally we have seen an increase in the number of clients failing to show up for scheduled appointments.

 

To keep those scarce appointments available and to help keep our services affordable, Middletown Animal Hospital has implemented an Appointment No-Show Policy.

 

A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without canceling it. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient’s chart as a “no-show”.

 

After a client “no-show’s” for an appointment, they must pay a deposit of $45 (or $45 per patient if multiple patients are booked at the same time) to reschedule that appointment. This deposit will be fully credited to the visit and is only non-refundable if the client doesn’t attend the rescheduled appointment.

 

Similarly, if a client “no-shows” for a surgery, they must pay a deposit that is the base price of the surgery which will range in price to reschedule the surgery. This deposit will be fully credited to the visit and is only non-refundable if the client doesn’t attend the rescheduled surgery.

 

We graciously ask that you please let us know that you won’t need your appointment so that we may offer it to another client in need.  Thank you for your understanding.
